Love that tax zine!

Both of my parents originally trained as nurses and every year there’s a day when the news would report that the nhs has “overspent”

And the chorus would reply “not overspend by £* they were underfunded by £*”

Ahh! Is there any better feeling than finding a use for a great piece of art material you've been holding onto for a very long time? And OREO THE RABBIT! SQUEE!!

Loved your tax zine (so true!) and still can't quite believe you are MAKING a fiddle. And YES re: the genius of Lynda Barry--she is an alumna of my son's public high school here (along with Sir Mix-A-Lot, funnily enough), and that made the school about 20x cooler in my eyes.

I learn so much from your newsletter! :) Thank you for all you share.

It was SOOO satisfying! I knew there was a reason I kept it all that time... and yes I just about managed to restrain myself from kidnapping Oreo.

Wow your son does indeed go to a cool school!!! And thankyou so much for your kind comments :)

Such a beautiful mix of a month again Jane. The banner, the bat and a much need reminder of the positive side of tax! Big thank you for including Little Lion Girl, those are a couple of my faves too! : ) x

A great read Jane. So full of inspiration. I love the little choir! I loved the Enzo Mari exhibition too. I felt so excited about shape. Fruit has been popping up in my sketchbook ever since!

Thankyou so much Charlotte! Yes I can't stop thinking about Enzo Mari, I loved everything about his whole philosophy especially where it touched on play... and the giant fruit was irresistible too!
