What a lovely busy month! Well done on being brave enough to go through the blue door, it sounds like a magical evening! I always love your stories of learning to play the fiddle, reading about the welcoming community around it is extra joyous!
Wow that's certainly an exceptionally busy August! So pleased that you went through the blue door too plus the Donkey sign is one of my top favourites (I already saved it to my own computer!)
Those donkey signs were multiple over a large area, each one hand-painted and slightly different- and some even offered matchmaking (it being near the matchmaking festival town of Lisdoonvarna)!
I'm so enjoying reading your posts Jane. Bravo for going through the blue door and having a wonderful evening! Alice would have been proud of you. Your comics class sounds brilliant.
Ha! Yes, I was thinking of Alice in Wonderland or maybe it was through the looking glass? anyway, I meant the other world you found on the other side of the blue door! What an experience and thanks for your uplifting and inspirational post.

Thankyou Nanette! I am still amazed I got up the nerve to do it - losing my inhibitions as I get older! 🥰
What a lovely read! Thanks Jane. You’ve inspired me to dig out my violin :)
Thankyou so much Amy! And that's great to hear that you are going to pick up your violin again!
Your children probably know Ben Powell from Tag rugby (he’s involved with the women’s England team I think), whose son is my godson! Small world :)
How funny, I will ask them! 😊
Fabulous newsletter Jane! It’s such a nice idea to write a summary of holidays like this, I bet it’ll keep it fresh in your mind for longer! X
Thankyou Ella! I enjoyed re-living those happy days :) x

Alice in Wonderland? It was a bit like that! Next time I’ll get myself some stripy tights!

The comics class looks magnificent! Will you offer it again? I’ve enrolled in a writing course happening the very same time! 🤓
Your inspiring month has resulted in a very inspiring post! Those islands look so beautiful! : ) x
Thankyou Fiona, I feel SO re-energised by the trip! The islands were lovely xx
Thankyou Beth - the comics class is GREAT fun! I will definitely be running it again in the new year so watch this space...
