Thank you Jane for that lovely mention - and the fires you made in Kindergarten inspired by Mo's Best Friend! I found myself wishing I had brought some kind of 3D 'fire' to a bookshop event recently - so we could all gather round it like proper Stone Agers! See if I can come up with something inspired by your example ? Gorgeous windows - pity our windows aren't face out on the street.
That’s my pleasure Bridget! And you should definitely feel free to use the fire idea… the children loved the book and had no problem understanding that Mo was from a very very long time ago.
It has been a magical thing to be part of. Sadly participation was much lower this year and I'm not sure if it will happen again. But you could try getting it going where you live!
“don’t over-bunny the palaces” made me chuckle out loud. I really enjoy when art directors or creative briefs give really funny and curious directive notes 😉
I’d love to see some of your Lindt creations Jane. I’ve a couple of Lindt bunnies from Christmas, huddled in my refrigerator still, fearing they’re next to be eaten. 😅 Looking forward to seeing your quilt project. I’ve several in the works but they become stalled when my other creative ideas keep shouting from the sidelines, “pick me next!”
Thankyou so much Maggie! Lindt bunnies are the absolute best, I need to stock up. And I have to confess to numerous unfinished projects around the house so you’re not alone…
Congratulations on Mabel, what a lovely cover! I always love reading about your violin making progress too. Scurvy looks like such a great rabbit, it’s a brilliant pirate-y name!
Thankyou Nanette - that cover rainbow was agony, I’m not sure why they are so hard to do! And the name Scurvy definitely grew on me…. Pirate rabbits would make a good story 😊
I'm always so impressed with the variety of creative projects that you pack into a month! The cover looks wonderful and what a great idea to do a modular collaborative city! (right up my street!) Thank you for sharing pics of Scurvy and Russell! : )
Oh my me, those window displays are magical! And pink fish! This post is everything!
🥰🥰 Thankyou so much! I love making my windows!
What an amazing month Jane! Excited to see your new book and always love the violin updates!
Ah thankyou Charlotte - sometimes I wonder if I’m overdoing the fiddle chat! 😂🎻🎻🎻
Ha ha. No keep going - I love seeing it develop!
Aw thanks! 🥰🥰

Window Wanderland is such a creative community initiative!! I wish there was something like that in my neighborhood. ✨

Congratulations on another busy and productive month! Your decorated window is fabulous! And unattended crisps are fair game I believe…
Ha ha yes - lock up your crisps or else! 😂😂 Hope your deadlines are going ok…
Thanks Jane, just sent off the files so 🤞🤞
I love the look on your face after eating the crisps. 😆 And the colors in that photo of you and Russell are mesmerizing!
😂 I looooove crisps too much! Definitely need to get started on my cityscape quilt now…

Thankyou Fiona! (Thought I’d replied to this but it’s disappeared). Modular is the way to go!
What a lot you packed into a short month Jane! Congratulations on the book - it looks gorgeous!! I will pre-order for sure! Xx
Aw thankyou so much Ella! ❤️❤️
Now I see what the odd-ones-out in your window were for! I don't know how you fit all these activities in the shortest month! x
I am celebrating 1st March with a lovely REST! 🥰
I want to do more modular cities, it was great fun! And there’s more rabbits and Guinea pigs I could dig out if you like 🥰
